I took my 86 year-old grandfather to see No Time To Die recently. Coming from the era of Sir Tom Jones, Dame Shirley Bassey and Sir Paul McCartney, he's not really into modern music, but he absolutely loved this. So, thank you Billie and Finneas for making what's been a tough time for us a whole lot easier.

motherlode it’s obviously not live, in fact she is most likely lip-syncing or else the audio would sound different. however that doesn’t mean it’s auto tuned. if it was, the breaths she takes would probably sound weird. also, i think her voice falters a little bit on her really loud note. it’s not that noticeable but i could still hear it. no hate to her tho, i like her music and it was still a good performance.

Anyone who say's "she's just whispering" has no idea the amount of control that entire song takes with the ups and the downs and hitting those notes... it's like gymnastics for vocal cords. Maintaining that is harder than one would think. Have you ever tried to 'whisper' for a long time? it starts to hurt your throat after a while because of the strain you put on your vocal cords, Imagine doing that constantly, and even if she was 'just whispering' it would still be a B*tch on the cords. Bravo Billie for having such control and being so amazing

As a guy, I like trying to imitate billie eilish style (of course, I don't sing that high), it's really interesting to see how to sing that way. I have to recognize it's most of the time impossible to imitate her without a mic because she doesn't sing really loudly, but it's really difficult to sing perfectly that way (ik my English sucks)

They def edited this video to make her voice sound in stereo much clearer and with a slight echo but her talent is still there. Tia Towers definitely. Her voice was starting to sound tired. I’m also very glad! People who say she can’t sing because they’re measuring Billie’s voice on some scale of ‘strength’ or simple belting power are completely missing the point. Her voice is beautiful and unique, but not robust. Her control is exceptional, but she needs time to develop (more) technique. I’m a trained opera singer with a voice that isn’t very robust. Maria Callas was arguably the greatest operatic soprano in the world, and her voice wasn’t robust. Nobody would ever claim that she couldn’t sing!

Billie's singing is pretty soft and emotional rather than that typical strong vocals, and that is absolutely rare... She isn’t taking someone else’s spot or pushing people down while trying to create music so I don’t get why people are obsessed with hating on her. Let her sing. wait I had an epiphany. what I love most about her voice is that you can picture what her facial expression looks like, even without video, like you can hear the shape of the sound from her mouth idk if that makes sense. but watching how deeply emotional her face really is when she sings adds a whole new level. beautiful

I remember the first time listening to Billie Eilish, it was her song Ocean Eyes. I really loved the song and I was so happy that I found a new artist that I could listen to, she was one of my little secrets since she wasn’t a big artist back then. Over the years she has made such a big development, now you see her everywhere. I’m really proud of her and I’m proud to say that I could see her grow from the start. I can’t wait to see her next steps and what she has to offer to us in the future
