Well, as a singer, I think she was really scared or stressed, and that impacted her breath support when she started the performance, but she became confident after looking at her brother. some singers are really good but they focus partly on having stage presence and entertainment, i love how billie focuses less on entertainment so that you can truly feel and see how amazing of a singer she is. it focuses on her vocals which are some of the best ever

That key change made me love this performance more than the studio version. She somehow sounds better here too
@jonaswunderkind4580 Жыл бұрын
Not better, it's just here she chose to open up more as it is big venue. Occasion needed to expand the intimate holdback of the original recording and they have done it perfectly. They turned the notch up just enough. He is really musical genius and she is a great vocalist, this was beautiful. Intimacy on a grand subdued scale.

@@jonaswunderkind4580 true, but I guess the "whisper singing" on the studio version was too much for me so I prefer this one lol

Jesus loves you ❤️ so so much. It is his desire to be with you. He longs for you. All you have to do is repent and give up all sin to follow him. His word says "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." If you are going through anything, he is right there waiting for you, constantly waiting for you to come to him. God gave up everything he loved through his son Jesus just for the chance that you might love him back. He is waiting with open arms. And time is short. These are the last days. I say all this because I care and don't want any of you to perish and neither does he. Please turn to him and repent now while there is still time. He loves you. The God of all creation actually loves you. There are things that don't always make sense in this life, things that cause us to blame God, and believe me I've been there too over some extremely heart-wrenching situations but he is a God who will never leave us nor forsake us so long as we stay with him. He is the complete expression of love. Just give him a chance. His heart longs for you. He chose you when he planned creation. You are not a mistake. His thoughts towards you outnumber the grains of sand. He died for you. The God of all creation let himself be nailed to a cross and suffer for you so you don't have to. Please make the right decision to repent and turn to Jesus to receive salvation now while there is still time, because it is almost the end. All you have to do is believe in your heart and confess with your mouth and say "God in heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner in need of your Grace. I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Please forgive me God for all my sins and please come into my heart and my life Jesus. I confess that Jesus is Lord and I make you Jesus, Lord and saviour of my life in Jesus name. Amen." Also be on the lookout for the mark of the beast soon to come. This will be something that ALL will be required to take either on/in their right arm or forehead and will be necessary to buy and sell things and essentially live. No matter what, do not take this mark because those who take it may be beyond saving.

The reveal of having her back to the audience to symbolize not finding her individual purpose as a singer to turning around, facing the audience, becoming "what she was made for" as an analogy that serves the song and it's movie, as well as Billie's own life (as expressed in interviews on the topic). Simple, effective, and visually stunning. Bravo, Billie. Bravo, Finneas.

Lol I don't even think it would crack the top 50.... you do know there used to be a time where good movies were made every year and they had great songs in them that were nominated...sung by generational talents....Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Adele, Judy Garland, Phil Collins.... It wasn't even the best performance of the night for Christ sake lol... Ryan Goslings performance blows this out of the water.

This song really moves me. I was a happy child, but after my teens and coming of age I just rarely felt happy. Always felt lacking, and not good enough. Never did find my place in the world or with anyone special. Now that I’m old, I’m finally free of all that striving, and now I’m happier. Strange how that could be. I don’t suppose that’s uncommon though and many people feel exactly as I have.

Can I ask you something? I need help. After 10 years of depression and disconnecting from general living. Losing all my dependance early on. Having to face reality with nothing but deja vu and disappointment. Funerals and self harm. Being tortured by the fact I'm not strong enough to take an easy way out. Too weak to be better. And now your too afraid of life altogether How do you learn to live again. I'm only 29
